Steam support not answering
It has been 2 days since i sent in my damaged steam gift card to steam support. The code got ripped off with the sticker on the back. Steam isn’t responding and i would like to know an estimate because game sales are going to start ending soon.

Usually those aren't stickers but a thin film you scratch of with a coin or similar.

All the steam cards I have ever bought had this sticker that you have to peel off similar to Amazon's card. They don't scratch off like a lottery ticket using a coin. But unlike amazon's cards that peel off easily because of the raised code. The steam cards have the codes on a paper backing that peel off when the sticker is pulled. How they ever thought this is a good idea is beyond me. I have to say though that steam support will add the correct code denomination to your account if you go through their process. It's just an inconvenience is all. Although it may take a day or two to see the funds. Which isn't good if you were planning to buy a game on the last day of a sale. I really wish they would correct this. So if you are planning to get a card and it has that peel sticker I highly recommend getting it at least 4 or 5 days before the sale ends. Just in case.

I got this gift card on Christmas day. It has now been 3 days since the code has been ripped off and Steam still hasn't gotten back to me.

contacting steam support on Christmas day and expecting a reply the same say is beyond unrealistic.

I was expecting a reply in a couple days at least.

Same thing happened to me just a few minutes ago. I'll be surprised if they get back to me in less then a week. (Just hope it is done before Jan 5'th, as that is the day that the sale ends on the game I am interested in).
