$50 steam card not working

so i got a couple steam cards for christmas, and the tw $50 dollar ones don't seem to be working? idk if they were scanned correctly or not, i wasn't there when they bought them, but i just want to use my cards. ive tried using different letters, numbers, etc. please, answer asap

I am having the same issues, it says invalid code and I just scratched off the code to enter it in my steam wallet. Any help to fix this issue would be great!

kindly provide the Country your are staying at honestly here.

then kindly provide the Currency you used to pay for your Digital Steam Gift Cards.

if both don't match at all, then you are the one at fault.

also, there is a fine print written in Steam Subscriber Agreement

if the problem is due to Physical Steam Gift Cards, then kindly go and contact the 3rd party retailer.

especially when the Physical Steam Gift Cards are bought from 3rd party website.

if the problem is due to Digital Steam Gift Cards

then Steam Support can't help you if you are a very dishonest person who go violate the Steam Subscriber Agreement especially the one i mention above.

1) buying Steam Gift Cards from 3rd party website is not Safe at all and can't be fully Trusted as there is a very high chance that the Steam Gift Card could have been redeemed

even if you buy it from your house nearby at a retailer shop, chances are high that it has been redeemed as well.

since it is very highly likely they go sell the Redeemed Steam Gift Card(s) to you.

p.s i don't recommend people going to websites like Carousell website there and buy Steam Gift Cards at all. this type of website have plenty of scammers and fraudsters.

p.s next time, asks your relatives to buy Digital Steam Gift Cards from Steam Store directly and give it to you.

1) asks for a refund

based on OP's post and the other people who got the problem.

the answer is very obvious.

Steam Wallet Codes and CD-keys are completely different.

no one here who bought Steam Gift Cards will treat it as Game(s) CD-keys at all.

p.s kindly please don't treat people here who asks for help as "fools who can't read on how to redeem Steam Gift Cards".
