Ive tried everything and my micro sd card still doesnt work with the steam deck

I bought a Sandisk extreme pro 512gb micro sd card to obviously use in the steam deck. However, when i tried to format it, an error message popped up saying "your microsd card cannot be validated. Please talk to the manufacturers of the card." So, after this, i tried tons of methods i found on the internet, to maybe reformat it, or alter it some other way.

For example, using developer mode to force format, and error message came up saying "your microsd card formatted succesfuly, but it couldnt mount while the device was running." And then, after mounting it, it said it couldnt format it anymore.

None of these methods worked.

I am also confused, since this micro sd card has been said to work perfectly on the steam deck, yet it doesnt even format properly.

Please send any methods (in detail) that you know have DEFINITELY worked. Thankyou
