Skyrim offers a lot of different playstyles especially with mods.
Here are some games that are comparable.
Gothic, Risen, Elex, Fable, other Elder Scrolls, Fallout.
ESO ( Elder Scroll Online ) ( Morrowind to Oblivion and Skyrim, its so big now, that the singleplayer standalone game version's can be seen as tiny compare to ESO.) + more.
Other title that might look same, and yet diffrent.
Kingdom of amalur
Enslaved
Dark Messiah
Styx
Dragon Age ( serie's )
Its a completely separate install. The only condition for it is that you own Skyrim on Steam.
Just be aware that its really a total conversion mod. The world of Enderal has nothing to do with Tamriel or the Elder Scroll games.
Enderal is also not the first game in the series, there exist a total conversion mod for Oblivion named "Nehrim" which is set in the same world and a prequel to Enderal.
But you can play Enderal without having played Nehrim, the events of that game will be brought up during the story.
