Think of your phone camera lens, when you zoom in that's 90 FOV, zoomed all the way out is wide 110 FOV, the range you want to stay at is between 90-110,

Positives for being higher FOV is less recoil and smoother game play, and when opponents are closer you ahve a wider view to not get confused with.

Positives of 90 FOV is that the opponents are closer and are more visible.

I play on 110 and Im BR Diamond this season.

Another thing you can get 120 FOV from Bloodhounds Ultimate, but only while in his ultimate and it goes away when the ult goes away.
