STEAM DECK WONT SHUT DOWN

There are instances that the steam deck would not close and I would be waiting for an hour but it doesn't shut down. It would happen if the steam deck is not connected into the internet and it bothers me. It occurs if the deck is not connected to the internet and would not shutdown if I would not force it to close. There are also instances that it would turn into a blank screen, it happened thrice since I purchase it a month ago. As far as I remember I always update the steam O.S into the stable channel and I have not did any alterations or whatsoever.

Did anyone encountered the same problem? do you know some ways on how to fix this?

Just updated the steam deck and this ♥♥♥♥ happend. Did you fixed the problem?

Same thing is happening to me too. And I also have the 8bitdo ultimate Bluetooth controller and it doesn't want to work connected through Bluetooth now either. Having a lot of issues I didn't have before and the steam deck seems to be misbehaving with my USB c aftermarket docks now too. Hopefully these things will get fixed.

I also force shutdown my deck so I thought to tinker it the simplest way.
I did try to reformat it back to factory settings, fortunately, I have most of my games in my SD card.
This is my only solution to this. I dont know if this will work on other future OS updates or other Decks coz its a case to case basis.
I even tried to contact steam support and they don't have a clue on what's happening. They just told me maybe its a firmware problem and downloading the newest OS update "may" fix this.
