Should i download Denovo?

I want to play a game that requires me to download Denuvo to be able to play the game. If denuvo only runs while i play the game then I guess its not a big deal. Does it only run while I'm in the game. I dont want to put anything on my pc thats going to cause performance issues in anyway, i also dont want to add another program that will be constantly running in the background. Also, if I uninstall the game, does Denovo get uninstalled as well or will stay on my system?

It literally says:
"Denuvo anti-cheat is required to access this portion of the game.

I just heard lots of bad things about denuvo. Who knows if they're true or not. But if they're only effecting the game i'm playing I don't really care.

I guess the added it to the game awhile back Idk, it gives me the option to install it from the game. Its not telling me to go to a site or anything like that.

The DRM is baked into the exe you aren’t “downloading” anything

Unless your referring to their anti-cheat component (which is separate and different than the DRM component which every tin foil hat goober mouth frothier) In which case yea you have to download it just like any other anti cheat program, in real time, as the anti cheat relies both on the local client as well as being updated to be effective

The game is Zero Hour. It has nothing to do with Duke Nukem or did you just not bother to read the thread fist before posting.
