How can I unlink my steam from a lost Ea Account ?

So, I lost access to my Ea account and there is no way I can login in back into that account. The problem is that my current steam account is linked to that lost Ea account, and now I can't link my steam to another Ea account. Please help

i'm having a similar issue - i no longer have access to the email linked to my EA account. EA's help chat and email are both broken though so I guess I'm screwed!

Only by using the same EA account, you can link the game only once.

Right, EA can't modify or meddle with account you don't own or control. After all what if you were a scammer and were trying to unlink my EA account from my Steam? It wouldn't really be a good move for EA to do that, which is why you need to prove ownership or have control of the EA account.

Ultimately what this really is is a reminder for everyone to make sure to track account details. You're hardly the first user to forget login names, emails, history of an account. Memory is a fickle thing and very fallible. So using a proper password manager to manage accounts, especially rarely used ones should save you from this sort of pain in the future.

after years and contacting EA several times, I still have this problem and it's so incredibly frustrating. I hate EA so much

EA suck. I gave them all detail about my game purchase from steam, epic and xbox gamepass. Yet they still said they cant help me change my email. Its goodbye for ea. No more buying game from them. 5 times i talk with their support and they still dont believe me. I still have access to my ea account FOR NOW. But if one day my pc or ea server problem and i need to relogin, then i will lose everything in my ea account.

I contacted EA and was able to prove ownership of the account. I am simply wanting to unlink them and do not want the lost account back as it belongs to someone I am no longer with. They refused to unlink and state they would have to change the email to my email instead of leaving it as is and unlinking my account. Unsure how to proceed but super frustrated as I was able to prove ownership.

Proceed with changing that email to yours, thus effectively claiming that EA account.
