Assassin's creed Odyssey - Valhalla
When I'm playing Ac Odyssey and some other offline games while downloading Valhalla, the downloading speed slows down from 10mbps to 6mbps. Any suggestion on how to boost my internet speed while playing games?

Maybe the cpu is too busy with the game.

Maybe but how? Is there a connection between the cpu and internet?

Many game clients somehow feel the need to handle the loaded data while it arrives instead of loading first. That can cause several % cpu load.

Do you use a oldschool HDD or a SSD? And is the game you want to play installed on the same drive as the one you are downloading to?

Because if you play a game then data is streamed from the HDD in the background to load into the game. And downloading at the same time writes data to the HDD and at the same time unpacks files with the system Steam uses.
Its possible that your HDD just cant keep up with the simultaneous loading and writing of data and thus the download slows down because it cant write/unpack the files fast enough since the HDD is busy otherwise.

The files you're downloading are compressed, and the CPU does work to decompress them as they download. If your computer is busy playing Odyssey, it has less resources to do that decompression work resulting is slower speeds.

I'm using SSD and I have only a single drive in this laptop. Do I need to separate or create a virtual drive?

I see. So there's nothing to do about it? So it's just Wait and Play situation?
