Family sharing
I plan to reset the computer, but how do i not delete the family sharing (i have external usb)

cant you just redo fammilly share again after you reset?

In your Steam main installation directory is a folder named "config".
In there is a file called "config.vdf". That file holds your Family Share settings.
Make a backup copy of that and copy it to the same place after reinstalling your PC and Steam.

If you want to be even more secure make a backup of the entire "config" folder or even the entire "Steam" folder if you have the space. Without the "steamapps" folder of course that includes the game files so it does not get too big.

But the "config.vdf" should be enough.
