New controller configurator theme is awful

Guys I need a critical help here. I just recently updated my steam and now I just don't get the idea behind the new controller configurator screen. It's totally changed for absolutely worse. Everything is complicated now. I get the old simple configurator page when I go to controller configuration in big picture mode but it's not as convincing to go to big ♥♥♥ mode every time I want to adjust my controller please help. How can I get the old configurator page in normal mode?

Big Picture is getting the same UI update the Deck and the new controller UI have.

Get used to it now.

No getting used to this new complicated and unnecessarily twisted UI, I'll try to get Along with it.

i hate it so much. it doesn't make any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. i haven't been able to use the new configurator to do ANYTHING, not even once...i always end needing to launch the game so i can use the old one. i just don't get how they think it's any kind of improvement, i may have to finally learn to use rewasd...i think it's now officially less complicated to use than the Steam tool

It doesn't even work properly for me. I can't move the sliders - the mouse seems to be offset. I can move some sliders (they just jump somewhere), but I can absolutely not move the outer dead zone. Does anybody else have that problem? If they do the same on Big Picture, I won't be able to use controllers anymore :(

I'm left handed and I swap everything to mirror a right handed controller.I use this configuration for 3rd and 1st person games. This literally ruined a good portion of my library.To say I'm mad is an understatement.
