Steam Game Icons turned into globes

So i was just playing some games today, then got off for a bit but left the computer on. I left for a few hours and when i woke my computer up about half of my steam game icons were turned into globes (like a picture of earth). I really have no idea why its kinda concerning me. So i looked up a few solutions and none of them worked besides going to the exe and changing the icon to that image. I know i can just change the images to whatever but im looking for the actual reason and solution to this issue. Especially if every time i have to reinstall a game it will have the globe icon as one of the first things i tried was uninstalling and reinstalling a game. Heres a list of the things ive tried so far.

Running steam as admin
Resetting the window explorer exe
Reinstalling the game
Restarting PC
set .URL to "internet browser" (from default app settings)


My specs are
16gigs of ram
Gtx 1080
i7 9700k
windows 10

Open File Explorer and browse to your user profile folder C:\Users\user_name. You should see gold padlock icon over the desktop item. Just right-click it and select File ownership -> Personal.
