PC: in-game Google web browser - how to bookmark & show bookmarks BAR?

Outside of the game (regular PC google) - I simply click the STAR (next to the HOME icon) then choose WHERE to put the bookmark relevant to the game (ie: write up on quests, items, etc). I can choose to target the bookmaks-bar or other-bookmarks folder. Easy-as-pie.

However when I'm IN_THE_GAME and click SHIFT-TAB, the game goes into pause & gives me lots of communication options. On bottom of the screen I click WEB BROWSER, I get the familiar Google web browser - but there are no options to show the bookmarks bar or any way to bookmark anything. I've searched ALL the options, settings, etc. No dice.

Any ideas on how to bookmark a simple URL web address?

The steam browser is extremely bare bones. It hasn't been designed to be used as a "main" browser.
