How long does it take usually take to trade?
Hi
I'm just wandering how long it usually takes to trade games. For example, I've posted on the Torchlight 2 page saying I'd like to trade for Factorio, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. Does it typically take a few days or weeks? Thanks!

The problem with trading games for games, is that you need to have the game in your inventory before you can trade it, which a lot of people won't. Once you have it in your inventory, it can't be traded for 30 days, so that further complicates the process of trading games. Finally, the person who has the game needs to want the game you have, so it can be a time-consuming process I'm afraid.

In addition to what habitualaction is saying, Torchlight 2 is just a lot less value than Factorio, so that will also hurt your chances of finding anyone who's interested.

Your inventory is also private, so noone could send you a trade offer, even if they wanted.

I just checked my inventory and it's set to public. Also they're practically the same price. Thanks though! Definitely helpful.

I can assure you, it isn't.
Also, store price isn't everything. Torchlight 2 has been out for years and it has had many discounts and was probably in the odd indie bundle or two. Factorio is new on Steam and has never seen a discount. Do the math.
