Yes, if you click on games (next to the search bar in the top right), it should come up with a drop-down menu, at the bottom of this menu should be "hidden", which contains all the games you've hidden in your library. Right click the game you want to get back, click on set categories, and untick hide game, then press ok.

Are you sure about this? If the game is hidden? Why would your friends see the game if you have it hidden? that makes no sense.

Yes, it only hides the game from you library, not from your profile, meaning other people can still see the game on your profile.
