Steam game mouse lag

So this is probably not the right topic to put this under but oh well. I am having issues with mouse lag in all my steam games. All other games I have on my computer work fine it is just with games on steam. I've tried the steam general fixes for mouse lag and nothing works.

Do you have another mouse laying around that you can try? At least you can narrow it down to the software being the issue or the hardware.

As soon as I got in game the mouse became a snail and the game started lagging

If you don't mind my asking, what is your frame rate in-game?

Kay I fixed the game lag. some how the skip frames for turned off but the mouse delay is still there. I move my mouse and then 2 seconds later it actually moves on screen.

First you would open the Steam client, then click "Steam" and then "Settings". In the new window you want to go to the "In-game" tab. Near the middle of this tab is a drop-down menu for "In-game FPS counter", just pick a corner that suits you and click "OK".
