Cannot play 4:3 stretched in games

I'm really new to this, got a laptop which really isn't designed for gaming but that is what I use it for. I bought a monitor which arrived today, it is the BenQ GL2250. I have an integrated Intel graphics card (yes I know, believe me I know) and I have to play CSGO in 800x600 for the frames. I was looking forward to stretching the screen to fit a 16:9 display (on the BenQ monitor) and I can't find where in the monitor or graphics card settings to enable this.

Can someone tell me how to do this please? I am very grateful. If you need my full specs for whatever reason I will go and find them.

In game? I play 800x600 in game because my laptop is poor and can only really do 4:3 resolutions at 60fps and above.

And I can't find panel fit in my options

Most decent BenQ's have a scalar built into the monitor. Use the monitor OSD and check under Display > Display Mode and check that it's set to "Full".

if above doesnt work then you can try this:

change screen res to 800x600 outside the game (in ur desktop settings)

then in CSGO try to play fullscreen windowed or something like that, it might work but im not sure

It is set to full I checked that :) I can't seem to find the 800x600 in the control panel, tried making it a custom res and I don't know how to then select it. Sorry I'm not much help. Lowest it goes naturally is 1064x768 or whatever that one is :p

If so, you may be out of luck in that the Intel GPU doesn't support scaling and instead relies on the display to do it.

Yeah, the options still aren't there even with the built in display. I have a feeling Intel does not support scaling at all. Thank you all for the help though!

I've had two laptops with Intel HD graphics and both have supported scaling just fine, at least on the laptops own display. Only other thing I can suggest is to make sure you're using the most up-to-date driver. Intel's GPU software doesn't check for updates like AMD and Nvidia do.
