Charged twice, three times
OK, I thought I might vent a bit on here, to see if steam might notice me here. Let me explain. On March 30, I made three purchases of 10$ for the steam wallet. One was done by a first card, and two by a second card. Unlike everyone else who seems to be complaining about this, I had no issues whatsoever with the purchases. Afterwards, steam charged me Twice for the two purchases of 10 (they didn't touch the first card.) I go to steam support in atempt to clear this up, and instead of replying, I get a nice little second charge ON MY SECOND CARD for the purchase of the first card. What the hell, steam?

I also made a purchase if 25$ with it but I'm not sure if steam decided to double dip THAT, too.

How is that possible?

You decided to link up multiple credit cards to your account? But even then, wouldn't you have to select/change the payment method and go through multiple times?

The first card was a friend of mine's, who decided to let me use 10 bucks off his. NOT my card.

That's the thing though, this WASN'T a failed order at all. None of them were!

See reply #2. If you didn't get more than one email receipt from Steam, you were not double charged. There is thing called 'preauth' on credit cards where money is reserved and the 'available to spend' amount reduced, but it's not actually been taken.
Does this include going in the negative? If so, thank you for clearing things up!

At the top/right of your Steam Client, click your Username > Account Details.

Under that you will find "View purchase history". Check there first. Then check your bank statements and match them off.

If you did get a double charge, ensure it's not just a 'preauth' as mentioned above (but that's normally only a $1 charge which bounces back), then contact Steam Support and give them screenshoted images on the payments in questioned circled for clear and easy lookup.

It should hopefully help speed the process up, but stil needs patience and might take a little time for them to get back to you. Only have one ticket (multiple tickets just slows it down more).
