My PAYDAY 2 says it is already running but it clearly isnt.
My PAYDAY 2 upon opening comes up with a message saying 'Another instance of the game is running, exiting' Pretty confused and would love some help please

When that happens to me I just force the computer to shut down. It works again after restarting.

Also, have you tried closing it via task manager?

This.

If it says the game is already running, then what's happened is that it has crashed and the process is still running in the background. Open task manager to end it there.
