[PROBLEM] XBOX ONE CONTROLLER NOT WORKING

Hey guys,

I am experiencing a problem with my Game Controllers. I have the Microsoft Xbox One Controller for Windows and the Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows with neither of the working in multiple games. All games in which this problem occurs are listed down below.
What's weird is that I already played some of these games with both of the controllers working on my old system but at some point they stopped working there, too.
However in other games and in steam itself they are recognized just fine.
I haven't found a fix for this problem yet and i think that all drivers are updated.
So I'd be thankful for all solutions you might have to help me.

The Controllers aren't working in the following games:

• Alice Madness Returns
  
• Antichamber
  
• Batman Arkham Asylum - GOTY Edition
  
• Batman Arkham City - GOTY Edition
  
• Batman Arkham Origins
  
• Batman Arkham Knight
  
• Bioshock Infinite
  
• Brothers - A Tale Of Two Sons
  
• Burnout Paradise - The Ultimate Box (Only the Xbox One Controller isn't working)
  
• Enslaved - Odyssey To The West Premium Edition
  
• Just Cause 2 - Multiplayer Mod
  
• Mirrors Edge
  
• Portal
  
• Puddle
  
• Rayman Origins
  
• Spec Ops - The Line
  
• The Witcher - Enhanced Edition

In some of these games - like "Spec Ops" or "Just Cause" - it doesn't really matter because I'm playing with mouse and keyboard. I only listed them for completeness.
But in games like the "Batman" Series, "Brother", "Mirrors Edge", . . . that's really frustrating because I think having a controller is necessary to enjoy the experience as much as possible. Additionally I already have played through the "Batman"- Games (except Knight) with the Controllers and suddenly they stopped working?!?

If this could be due to system incompatibility here are my basic system specifications:

• CPU: Intel i7 6700k
  
• GPU: Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming
  
• RAM: 16 GB DDR4
  
• Mouse: Roccat Tyon (I've read that some people experienced problems because of the X-Celerator)
  
• Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB

Do you have Windows 10? Microsoft broke the support for those controllers recently. Will need an update by Microsoft to fix it.

Yes, I do.
However on my old PC the Controllers stopped working in these games a while ago (~ 1/4 to 1/2 a year ago) with Windows 7.
Do you know if there's hope for these Controllers to work again in the near future or should I look out for alternatives?

I think MS was installing updates on the QT in prep for win10 at least 6 months before official launch date.

That could be possible, thank you.
But I still don't quite understand why they work in some games and in some others not.
Especially because the games I've listed have different publishers, engines, . . . so I don't see why I have problems with these in particular.
(For example "Rayman Origins" isn't working, while the direct sequel "Rayman Legends" is. So I don't seem to understand the logic behind this)
I hope someone can help me so that I can use my Controllers again. Or help me understand this problem at least.
