Connecting two Steam profiles??

Going back through my old passwords I found that I have 2 Steam accounts. I can log into both of them, is there a way to join both of them into one account as I clearly don't need two?

Only way possible is setting up Family Sharing:

Will that work if both account are on the same computer? One of my account is old based on my login name and the other account is the one I use all the time not realizing I had the other account I must have started another....

Steam only deletes profiles in very rare instances (i think when legally compelled to do so). You can "lock it down" but you''ll have to lookup how to do that.
