Redeem codes to gift
I recently bought some codes from a site that I want to use.
I saw that I bought some games that I already have, now, I don't want to waste them or anything
So I was thinking of giving them as a gift to a friend and I was just wondering if I could somehow transfer these codes into a Steam gift, instead of just sending the codes to that person.
I know I could just send the codes, but it seems nicer to give them a 'gift-package'.

Wish it was possible, but Steam has never allowed key codes to be converted to gifts. You want games in gift form, you need to buy them from Steam. That's always been part of their policy.

It is to prevent key reselling pretty much. It is a legal thing. Most sources of keys are non-tradeable while Steam gifts are allowed to be traded. Steam thus doesn't offer features that would make it possible for you to trade the key.
