Why Can't I Lock My Own Threads?

The only threads i can lock is trading threads, which is the least section that I use.

If you feel a thread should be locked, you can always ask a moderator to lock it. You can also delete the thread if it has fewer than (I believe 6, maybe 7) replies by hovering your mouse over your first post and clicking the trash can icon.

This is a public discussion forum. Anyone can reply to anyone's threads. You may prefer posting in a private group.

Yea but that's my thread, I own that thread. It should be my rights to lock it. Just like any other forums.
