If a friend gifts you a game can they refund it?

A friend of mine bought me the game Ark: Survival Evolved like a few weeks ago, i have been playing but he got annoyed after i didint want to play on his server, for the past like week and a half he's been making threats/demands to refund the game unless i pay him *i never asked him to buy the game he just did* anyways, today i had enough and now i blocked and removed him, but can he? if so i can just buy the game again, i got the money, just really annoying to lol.

No it's a gift, You can't do refunds on gifted games. Doesn't work like that. You didn't ask for the game and he bought it anyways. It's his fault. Doesn't matter if you don't have time to play it's not your fault. I don't have time too and i have a friend who gifted me that game too. He isn't complaining..

He's trolling you, he just gifted you the game, he's just trying to make you paranoid you're gonna lose the game. You're not. You can't get a gifted game back anyways.

Thanks lol, i only worry because he knows how to ddos and stuff, so i figured it was true, but yea, thanks, also its not like i didint have the time, its mainly because everyone on that server is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and messes with me so i didint want to play on it.

its possible to refund a game which is gifted but u exceed 2hrs req so u cant refund it now.
(oh if he say he gona refund it then no he cant until u agree also its not possible now since u played it more then 2 hrs)

and for refund gift need the consent of the confirmation of the return of the two: who buy gift and to whom accept gift

So what if he does manage to revoke it?!

Then you'll just have to pay for the game yourself — which is the way it should be.

Especially now that you have blocked him as a token of your gratefulness and appreciation.

Also thought i would add more info, it had been like 4 days since we last spoke, so i figured we were good now, i just told him i might buy my own server just to mess around with friends, he then said $30, i told him i found a cheap host, then he said "no, pay me $30" we got into a whole argument and in the end he said "Pay me $20 or buy the game again" bassicaly i told him to ♥♥♥♥ off and now we are here.

Yea its been redeemed, its been way more then 14 days, and i got like 100 hours into the game

Redeemed gifts DO require the consent of the recipient as they are the ones who must initiate such a refund.

You DO need the consent of the person that currently has it.

But it's perfectly within the realms that the purchaser could just reverse the card payment with their bank and the item would be gone as it's no longer paid for!
