Why Lithuania belong to Russia region ?

Hi i am from Lithuania and i know most of you don't give a damn about this random country or just dont know that it exists , but nevertheless i do not understand why some game developers or steam decide that Lithuania belongs to Russia region for example "Dishonored" is Dishonored[RU]" or Borderlands 2 region locked my country to Russia and so on.

1. Lithuania is in NATO means we are allies with USA not RUSSIA
2. Lithuania is in Euro Union which means we are even further away from Russia grasp.
3. Lithuania has to pay FULL "1st world" price for games. Thats 60 euros per title ($70 for you USA boys) so WTF ?

so explain me why in 2016 we still considered communist country ?

idk maybe Estonia or Latvia is in same boat as Lithuania but i talk from my perspective and it sucks.

P.S i have tons of friends from Europe and US but i have 0 friends from Russia.

Well it's always possible to purchase using other countries web code. I was in lithuania visiting parents during one summer sale and asked support to link me to uk steam web because I planned to pay in pounds using my uk card.

You don't even need a USK rating in Germany but most devs think so, they also think indexed means banned so basically they are uninformed.

Yeah, well that stuff does not celebrate SS or nazis or germany. In fact it does not celebrate anything at all. There is no parade. There is a silent walk to a graveyard. And why do you consider them nazis? They did not fight because of some missguided ideology or in the name of germany, they fought because their country was held by savage occupant force.

There where only 2 forces in europe that had goals in the war - germany and ussr, rest was caught in the middle.
