Anthem Demo Has Put My 8700k CPU Under 100% Usage.

I dont know how i should put this kindly or nicely but Dice/EA Games ♥♥♥♥ed it up with Anthem and the demo. For whatever reason during the tests i had with demo under medium to high settings.

Whats more ironic or sad is that i wasnt even able to fly around with the suit as my cpu was struggling around the city hub area.


I went from high settings to medium/low settings the results were still the same, the cpu usage was crazy.

8700K 100% High Settings/Snyc turned off.
8700K 100% Medium Settings/Snyc turned off.


Clearly this game hasnt being optimizted well otherwise i wouldnt be experiencing such results.
I was reading some of the posts on reddit it seems i wasnt the only one with the issue either.

Anthem should be avoided on the PC.

The game isn't even released yet, wait for patched.

It's common knowledge that EA launches their games half finished. It can take a few months for the game to become somewhat playable and for most of the major bugs to be fixed.

Seems to be run i g great for me and all my mates playing it, I'm guessing the issue is with your system.

Just checking, seems I'm getti g around 40% usage on a 9900k with a 2080ti at 4k max.

Which suggests the issue is your end and not the game.

i also have 100% no matter what, same as many others. its clearly an issue with game, not user. some users does not have this problem, and no one was able to figure out why this is happening
