Titan Quest Gold is the base game and the Immortal Throne DLC. Your profile shows activity for both of those, so it seems like you did get what you were supposed to get. Unfortunately, redeeming a key will never result in you getting a gift copy if you already own the game, the key will simply not redeem. To make matters worse, Steam cannot refund a CD-key. I'm sorry.
You cannot redeem a key if you already own the content. Steam will tell you that you already own the game, and ask you to install it.
Titan Quest Immortal Throne
25 apr. - Received as a gift
27 may - Activated as a part of: Titan Quest Gold Retail
so wtf
As mentioned above, a key will never turn into an extra copy of the game. It will either redeem, giving you what you do not already have, or it will tell you that you already own the game. It is not possible to turn a key into a gift.
If you own for example the basegame and then buy the GOTY edition you only get the missing DLC not a second copy of the main game. Was always that way.
