Steam Store seems to be down

When I try accessing the steam store via either the store page on the client or the store page through browser the store fails to load. Is anyone else having these issues? all other features of steam appear to be working just fine.

I'm having issues as well. I want to buy Battleborn, but the transaction fails to initialize every time.

Yeah, Steam store appears to be down, tried both web browser and access through the client and it will not load.

Yeah wondering that as well, All I'm getting is a black screen with this line of code. "ce #97.180fd717.1464302558.3c873a"

I'm being told by others on a stream that it's working for them, so it might be an issue for those of us using Family view? Does anyone effected by this NOT use family view? Was surprised I could even reach discussion area, let alone post.

FF doesn't seem to have the issue. I'm having problems on the client and Chrome on Windows 10.

or on W7 and Vista boxes...

and now on FF as well.

I had the problem via steam client and firefox both. Firefox on 2 pcs. Same on Opera. I wonder then if it just has to do with being logged in already?! Anyways, anyone know how long this been going on today?

I am currently having this same issue. I accidentally uninstalled steam to try and fix it and now when I try to install it again i receive this error code #97.40fd717.1464303621.aea514d. Idk what's going on.
