Is your monitor plugged into the graphics port of the mainboard and not into the graphics card?

I tried both ports the one on my new gpu and the one on my integrated gpu

if the computer works fine until you install the gpu it might be that your computer is not powerful enough, most psus get weaker over time too

would it cause the no signal problem if i didnt have enough power to power the gpu?

no signal ,
check your cable , is the monitor set to the right input (dvi , hdmi ,vga )
in the bios you need to set the 730 as primary if you migrated from on chip

730 is real low power it gets all it needs from the slot

You probably need to go into the BIOS and set the display setting to PCI-Express.

Also, it's really not a good idea to use an underpowered PSU. You can wreck your computer (including the new graphics card) doing that.
the computer should switch to the gpu by itself and even if it doesnt it should use the igpu

Also, it's really not a good idea to use an underpowered PSU, particularly a cheap one because they always deliver less power than they claim. You can wreck your computer (including the new graphics card) doing that.

im sorry i dont know what BIOS are and i am planning on picking up a new psu once i get this working, and its the one that came with my pc.
