More slots for item showcase?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get more slots for your item showcase?

You can't do that, but you could use the 'Items for sale' showcase aswell as the Item showcase if you really wanted to include more items.

My mistake — I didn't take into account the fact that Steam saves one set of the items in the item showcase to the database, making both the same items.
