Cheap knockoff 360 controllers have always been problematic at best with Windows. No such issues with official ones.
Best bet would be to go and buy a pair of XB1 controllers. They'll work with Win10 no problem.
Just for Dirt3 and Grid2 etc,trying to turn smoothly with keys on a keyboard doesnt make for a great experience. Also the SNES controllers for retro fun with my girlfriend
Couldn't say since it should be simple button to key stuff. But again, cheap knock off who knows, maybe a connection came loose or something.
Was my first thought, but both SNES controllers now have exactly the same problem, and it came on at the same time for both
