Can you use a DLC bought from UPLAY in a game bought on STEAM but also linked to your Ubisoft Account?
Here's the thing:

I have the STEAM version of Assassins Creed Unity and have linked this to my Ubisoft account as well.

All is well, but I noticed that there are no DLC purchase options.

I did some checking and it turns out that due to all the trouble the game had when it was launched, the season pass and all the DLCs were removed from STEAM sale - the only thing you get now is the free "Dead Kings" expansion.

As you can still get the UPLAY DLCs "American Prisoner", Chemical Revolution" and "Killed by Science", I was wondering if it would be possible to buy the UPLAY version of those keys through the Ubisoft site, link them to my game through Ubisoft and be able to play them through my game which is linked to both STEAM and Ubisoft accounts.

Appreciate anyone getting bhack to me on this - thanks in advance.

Would imagine they'd work, since the Steam -version uses Uplay too; and all the DLC bought from Steam has to be activated on Uplay too.

Don't take me for granted though, Steam installs its files under steamapps\common\ whereas Uplay might not attempt to install the DLC in the same location. EDIT: Not even to same APP-ID apparently.

If I were you, I'd ask on the game's own forums,

EDIT
Doesn't work, don't buy the DLC. :TryAgain:

Although, on that reddit chain, OP did get a CD-key that applies to the Steam Store bought copy from Ubisoft once contacted. I wouldn't rely on that thought though if I were you.
