i cant create a steam group

i filled everything out on the creation page but when i press create button, nothing happens? any help? when i press "Check Availability" nothing happens either, just like the "create" button. I tried typing a random name with a random abbreviation/name but that doesnt even work either

Got the same issue,, it seems something might be on their side. Tried it via browser and steam app, nothing..

Is there any error message showing up for anyone of you guys?
And maybe you can give a little more information like "Do you have the Steam client beta?", "Do you have any restrictions, like community bans?" and stuff like that.

Ok for those who have the beta client enabled, try to turn it off and then create a group.
For the other ones it migth be helpfull to delete the "ClientRegistry.blop" file from the Steam folder and then restart steam to create a new one.
Its located in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

But i guess not, if there are so many people with the same issue :D

how do you turn off beta client
