Games not coming up in shared library
I've set up family sharing with my friend and everything was ok for a few weeks until now, where a few of his games have disappeared off the shared library. (The games I've noticed are project cars and GTA IV). Does anyone know why this might happen and what can I do to get those games back on the library?
Cheers
Tristan

So, are you saying despite the fact Grand Theft Auto IV has a CD-key for a third party DRM like Games for Windows Live, that it was somehow Steam Family Sharable?

EDIT: Not for my alt,

Even EfLC says Purchase, (the only reason it displays is because it's installed.)

Shrugs on the Project Cars though,

Do you see his other uninstalled games?

No, I didn't realise gta needed a product key. But other games that require a product key to use still show up on the sharing library and I can download them, but can't use them because I don't have the product key.
And yes lots of his games that I havent installed yet show up.

That would imply the reason isn't the authorization that they don't show up.

Not sure why Project Cars would be excluded. Is it still listed if you check his profile's games?

Does anything show up if you hold down [Windows] and [R] -keys
steam://nav/games/details/234630
Then press [Enter] ?

Yes project cars comes up when I look at his games on his account. It also says that he has 173 games but 163 come up in the sharing library.
I typed that thing in and nothing happened.

Was going to ask you about the potential region restrictions, but I found the said person's profile pretty quickly and discovered you two live in the same country, so surely it's not that either.

Anything listed on the top left here?

No, I've looked through that. It just says 'this product is not in your library'

Well, if you're into trying, you could try to re-authorize. He'd have to basically go here:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/managedevices

Then he'd have to sign in on your computer while on his account and authorize your device again.

Although, it's weird that uninstalled games would display if that was the case.

i just looked up a game that I havent downloaded yet, that comes up in the sharing library, on that help centre thing and it gives me a different message, saying that although the game isn't in my library it is in the sharing library. It doesn't seem to realise that project cars is in the sharing library.
