I can't drag items from my bp into the boxes of items I want to show off

Its very hard to explain, but for some reason when I try to click on an item and drag it into the items im offering to trade boxes, it lags behind my mouse and it won't land in the items I want to show off. Even the double click to insert an item trick doesn't work now, can someone please help me with this?

Don't drag them, double-click them and they'll jump over to the Trade area.

I do use google chrome, but its so hard to explain, if you have skype, friend me on steam and I'll give you my skype account so I can show you the exact problem

The thing is, is that double clicking has a 50/50 chance depending on users, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't

It is just trading items u are referring to yes?
Then for that, do that in Steam Client, not a Browser.

For Market, Forums and such, then those can easily be done in Browser.
But purchasing from Steam Store or doing any Trades, it's best to do those right within the actual Client.

Thing is though is for trading items and forums, it happens both in browser and in steam client so I'm kinda at a loss for words

Well yes, mostly everything u can do in Steam Client you can basically do in Browser. That is not the point.

If you have a hi-jacked browsers or some addons that are not a good idea to begin with; that could be a problem. If it's an issue in the browser, then trouble-shoot that; meanwhile do it in Steam Client directly.

Sometimes browsers, especially Chrome can act a bit different depending on the Hardware Acceleration being on/off (it's on by default) in Chrome > Settings > Advanced

And for say AdBlocker types; you should not in any ways be blocking the official Steam sites:

When u say "Show Off" you mean the Item Showcase box available in your Profile?
IDK what you mean when u said "bp"

Oh sorry, let me clarify

Bp=Back pack, the items avaliable in your invintory

By show off, I mean, the items you want to show to the person who you are trading with, the "Your offerings" box

If you mean "Inventory in Steam Account/Profile" then just say that.

You want to show off stuff in your profile, then u use the Items Showcase.
You don't go around with folks bringing up a Trade Window to "show off" your items; that's how mistakes are made.

I'm not giving out info for Skype; just make video recording and upload it; then share the direct URL to it; very simple. Just that, before u start your recording (in case u lack editing software) situate your Steam so as not to show Steam Account Name or other sensitive info. The default Steam Client will show your account name in upper-right; use a Steam Skin (such as Metro-for-Steam) to easily hide that.

Yes you don't have to drag anything, just double click the items to move them from left to right in a trade window.
