Now having the same problem with Doom Eternal.
I challenge those people to try that as well.
Prove me wrong - please.
Does not work. Was downloading forza 5, 100+gb, had to stop after 5 hours and leave the house when I had 11 minutes left, so I paused then shut off my pc. Came back the next day and I can't download the game because it i don't have 100gb left on my drive after it took nearly everything. It won't recognize that there was a download that occured.
Steam can easily saturate Gigabit connections to a point where the IO of a system can be a bigger bottleneck then the connection itself.
I only have a 100 Megabit connection, but i can reliably download games, no matter the size, including 100GB+ titles at 12.5 Megabytes per second.
Downloads aren't cleared without reason either. Either the data was corrupted, or was outdated due to a patch being released.
0% DL'd.
