steam website login "remember me" does not remember

Hi,

I'm using chrome for the website. And pretty much every day I go to the steam website, I have to login again, it never remembers me. Anyone else having the same problem?

I only found some very old posts on google search (3 years ago) that say the problem is fixed.

Make sure you are not removing the cookie to the website, and if you are using apps like ccleaner youll need to check the cookie settings and make sure it's whitelisted.

I did check that, I'm not using ccleaner or any cookie related addons. I also checked in the chrome settings, there are many cookies related to steam stored on my machine.

I do use adblock however, I have disabled it for steam for now to see if it makes a difference, but I really don't think that's it.

If you are using more than 1 browser or device this can happen a lot as well. For example. Viewing the forum on chrome on desktop then switching over to chrome on an android device. when you go back to the desktop steam will probably ask for a steam guard code.

It hasn't asked me for steam guard code in a long time. I have it setup for my phone and mail.

I do use 2 computers. Every morning I check in the office, in the evening usually at home. If that's the reason that would be sad and not very useful :)

This happend to me any time i switch from tablet to desktop so the same could be true.
