I need to find the trade info on a trade

I was sent an offer for my skins 2 months ago and need to see what the person said in the message. I looked in incoming offers history and didnt see it. I found the trade in inventory history but it doesnt show what I need it to show. https://gyazo.com/462e219906327506e46150a07425935c is this image it shows the oconfirmation code, which I need and in this photo https://gyazo.com/f472c50b060ce7b50222a044b337b8a9 i need to be able to get the confirmation code that the bot sent me from that.

Bot trading isn't supported. The messages don't mean jack on Steam anyway, the only thing that matters are the exchanged goods. Nothing else. The message can't be recovered nd if the bot requires its contents, it should he avoided at all costs.

The reason it doesn't show up in the Trade Offer History is because that shows only up to 2 weeks.

Your trade offer was done in March.

EDIT: Well, for what it's worth, there is a folder called inventorymsgcache under Steam\userdata\<SteamID3>\

That's probably around the closest, inconvenient way, of figuring it out.

I got to the files but they are .cachedmsg files and I dont have anythign that can open them nor can I find one.

yeah but it opens up in Chinese.

Opens up fine in English for me when I open it up with WordPad.

Also, use CTRL + F.

And no promises that you will find the message, I've never used this method personally.
