Can't add authenticator.
Hey, fellow members of Steams.
I have had this problem for quite a while.
Whenever I try to add a steam authenticator with my phone, it says that there is a problem.
It says
"Oops"
"Sorry, there was an error when we tried to access your Steam Guard status"

This problem keeps popping up, i've deleted and installed the program quite a few times and nothing has worked. I haven't really found any other forums, so I would like any help by the steam community.

Please help me!
I really want to setup my authenticator so I can trade things without having a 15 day ban.

PLEASE HELP!!! ASAP!!!!

You Could Try

1. Log out of all devices + website before trying it on the mobile app.

2. Before pressing the NEXT button, disable your WIFI and Mobile Data, then press Next.
You will see an error and a Retry link. After that, activate your internet and press Retry.

I made this with other accounts but now no matter what i make it dont work, if i go to change it in the pc app it says that download the mobile app, if i go in the mobile app, also says that.
