At the first my currency was py6,I went to: account details > update store country and picked my country(Egypt) from the list there I did everything well then instead of updating the currency to EGP(Egyptian pound) it updated it to USD.:steamsad:
I searched for too many helps on the internet it was no use.
So please help me to change my currency from USD to EGP ?

For some regions Steam uses USD instead of their local currency. Check if Egypt is a region where Steam uses Dollar.

So i will never be able to change it to EGP?
If so can anyone tell me which countries can steam use their currency?

~Thanks

The Steam store offers pricing in many currencies, including but not limited to:

United States Dollars (USD)
British Pounds (GBP)
Russian Rubles (RUB)
Brazilian Reais (BRL)
Euros (EUR)
Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
Thai Baht (THB)
Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)
Turkish Lira (TRY)
Philippine Peso (PHP)
Mexican Peso (MXN)
Singapore Dollar(SGD)
Japanese Yen (JPY)
New Zealand Dollar (NZD)
Norwegian Krone (NOK)
Canadian Dollar (CAD)

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8360-wejc-2625#currencytype

Now the article says "not limited to", but I don't see EGP there.

By the looks of things,
http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=eg

Egypt uses USD.

Interesting how your currency would display in Rubles at first.

Your currency is based on where you live. If your country is not set correctly, change it to the country where you live on this page:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/

And then complete a purchase on Steam using a payment method issued in that country.

I already did this and choosed egypt from there but cuz egypt isn't one of these:

United States Dollars (USD)
British Pounds (GBP)
Russian Rubles (RUB)
Brazilian Reais (BRL)
Euros (EUR)
Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
Thai Baht (THB)
Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)
Turkish Lira (TRY)
Philippine Peso (PHP)
Mexican Peso (MXN)
Singapore Dollar(SGD)
Japanese Yen (JPY)
New Zealand Dollar (NZD)
Norwegian Krone (NOK)
Canadian Dollar (CAD)

Steam picked USD for me,that doesn't mean that egypt really uses USD it's just on steam

I just want to change back to RUB and I can't do this from account details page i checked that before.

Steam will not always use the currency of the country you live in. However every country has a currency associated with it, for Egypt that is USD.

looks like you don't understand me
I just want a way to change my currency to RUB
I don't care now about Egypt and it what it uses

As I have explained above, you do not choose your currency. You choose your country. Your currency will be chosen for you based on your country. If your country is incorrect, you have been told how to change it so it is correct.
