New Steam Account with Mobile Auth
Hi,

can I instantly trade without restriction if I create a new Steam Account and instantly activate the Mobile Authenticator?
Or is is like before, that can trade about a month later or so?

Thanks

No, the Steam Mobile Authenticator must be active for seven full days to be able to trade without holds.
Additionally, you must have an unlimited account it you want to send trade requests. See the sticky regarding limited accounts for more information.

You can trade instantly, your goods will be held for two weeks though until you've had tue mobile authenticator for a week.

Neither.

In order to trade, you need to have had Steam Guard (either e-mail or Mobile) enabled for 15 days. For there to be no holds, you need to have had Steam Mobile Authenticator enabled for 7 days.

So, in otherwords should you create a new account and set it up with the Steam Mobile Authenticator, you'll have to wait out the 15 days to trade.

Some items can't be traded by limited users. For account unlimitation, you'll have to add or spend $5 USD on your Steam -account.

I can trade (certain items) fine on my limited alt both in- and outgoing.

So, let's say I create a new Account and verify myself with email and mobile authenticator. And I instantly cashin enough money. Would'nt I be able to RECEIVE Items for 15 days?

After you've had Steam Guard enabled for 15 days, you would be able to receive items, yes. If the sending party has the Steam Mobile Authenticator enabled (and has had it on for 7 days) then regardless of the recipient, there won't be holds either.

What's it say when you try to accept the offer? You should still be able to trade (albeit with holds) even if you were only using the regular Steam Guard (and had had it on for 15 days.)

That while the issue isn't particularly with accepting the offer, you just won't accept it since it prompts you the hold?

I mean what prevents you from confirming the offer?

Is it unresponsive, or what happens?

if i click the confirmation it appears "You have logged in from a new device. In order to protect the items in your inventory, you will be unable to trade from this device for 7 days." even its been 9 days.

I see.

With Steam Mobile Authenticator (enabled for 7 days) though, you shouldn't have New Device Restrictions,
http://store.steampowered.com/news/19618/
Accounts with a Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least 7 days are no longer restricted from trading or using the Market when using a new device since trades on the new device will be protected by the Mobile Authenticator.

Ensure you've got the green shield here that says [Protected by Steam Mobile Authenticator]
