34" Ultra-Wide Monitors
Anybody here know if "War Thunder", "Skyrim", and "The Witcher 3" will size properly on these monitors?

Check the native resolution of the monitor and then check if the game has the capability.

For better or worse, you'll be spending a lot of time on that site. There are some tools like 'Widescreen Fixer' and 'Flawless Widescreen' that you'll want to get aquainted with if you haven't done so already. (Those curved, 144 hz. 34" G-Sync beasts are absolutely sweet).

I personally wouldn't go 4k unless you're planning on getting a Pascal card. Sli is not always supported properly and even a single 980ti will struggle in many games at 4k. A 2560x1080p 34" ultra widescreen monitor would be the sweet spot for non-Pascal single gpu machines.

I forgot to ask, what are your monitor specs? (Resolution/Refresh Rate/G-Sync, Free Sync)?

And

Edit:

Remember that you should be able to tweak most games into 21:9 but getting the HUD to cooperate can be an entirely different matter (they'll be stuck at a 16:9 aspect ratio unless they can be changed by the tools or other tweaks).
Hello nice to meet you. You can check my current system spec's under my profile. I'm planning to upgrade to the new Nvidia GTX 1080 in about 2or3 months just the one card for now maybe a second card later on? All other system spec's will remain the same for now. Having said that, here's my delimma I can't decide wheather to get the New "Acer Predator" 34" ultra wide with G-Sync, or the "Samsung 65"4k led smart tv, 4k will not be a problem with the new GTX-1080. If it was you which way would you go?

Not sure where you got this info from, but it's quite wrong.
The 1080 will be slightly faster than a 980 Ti, which struggles heavily with 4k.

Some food for thought:
Display wise: a 1080p res is approx 2 million pixels, 3440*1440 ultrawide resolution is approx 5 million, with 4k you're looking at 8 million - quite a difference, wouldn't you say?
Sweetspot for GTX 1080 will be / is around 1440p resolution (aspect ratio aside).

War Thunder and Skyrim shouldn't be a problem in 4k, Witcher 3 on the other hand is not doable with the usual 60 FPS.
Depending on the game you also might bottleneck because of your CPU - maybe you have noticed that already in RoTR.

Now if you're fine chilling on your couch at 30 FPS, then a 1080 at 4k will be fine again.

So, as you can see, it depends.

GTX 1080 can run @ 2160p / 60 FPS no problems

Heck a single 980 Ti had no issues doing that in most games; and the 1080 is way stronger

lower 2 are 4k.
As i said: not even close.

With lots of room for OC certainly a neat card though.
