Account unable to trade, ESCROW blocked
Hi guys, I need some help!
I installed my Steam Mobile Authenticator a week ago but am still unable to trade.
I went to Steam Support under Trading but it says "Your account is allowed to trade."
When I tried sending trade offers to friends and betting sites, it said
"Looks like our bot couldn't send you an offer because you are ESCROW blocked. Please set up a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, then wait 7 days" (for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)

and

"There was an error sending your trade offer. Please try again later.

You have logged in from a new device. In order to protect the items in your inventory, you will be unable to trade for 7 days."

I can't even send trade offers to friends, but can sell items on market.
Am miserable AF. ;(

So there are two different restrictions at play here. One is the new device restriction: Steam considers each browser, each Steam installation, and I believe your phone to be a different device. The new device restriction is device specific: so your browser being restricted would not prevent trading on the Steam client or your phone.

As for the trade holds, the 7 days is to the second. You should check for the confirmation email, it will tell you when the authenticator was enabled.

Thanks! You're the Real MVP for helping users in trouble. (unlike Valve 'hint' 'hint')

As a note, once the Steam Mobile Authenticator has been enabled for 7 days, you should be immune to New Device Restrictions while the Mobile Authenticator is on.

Accounts with a Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least 7 days are no longer restricted from trading or using the Market when using a new device since trades on the new device will be protected by the Mobile Authenticator.
