can I run Rust on my windows vista?

I know, it says minimum windows 7 but I would like to hope and to ask you If these are good as requirements

video card:GeForce 8400

CPU:Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz

CPU speed:2.4 GHz

RAM: 4.0 GB

I really want to play that game and I want to try to play it, but idk if i will have 1 FPS or crash instantly, or have other similar problems, can you tell me if it's possible?

To be completely honest, if you got a new GPU and doubled the ram Rust would probably run.

But you need to make sure you have Vista 64 bit first, as the game requires a 64 bit OS.

Please disregard Djcustoms opinion...

You won't be able to even run the game with at least the minimum amount of ram, which is 8GB, plus you MUST have Windows 7. Also i am not quite sure if a Core 2 Quad paired with a Geforce 8400 would do a mildly decent job, since the recommended Video card its a GTX 980, so, bearing that in mind maybe even after upgrading OS and your ram up to 8GB it is possible that you will only get like 10 FPS at a 1280 x 720 resolution

Its never a good idea to bypass minimum requirements, you will only have regrets (trust me, i know) and will be cranky as hell and even might not get a refund.

Wait until you can upgrade your PC.

Not with a GeForce 8400 he won't. That graphics card is almost ten years old.

True, but the minimum says a Directx 9 compatible video card, which is the case of the 8400 GS at least. But yeah, it won't do any decent job because of its lack of power nowadays.

hell, all games I see on steam that I want cant be played with this prehistoric pc, space engineers, rust, Verdun, Heroes & Generals ecc......lol, this pc can run just minecraft and terraria xdd

Minecraft and terraria are nowhere near the class of game rust is. One is/was a java game and the other can run on a toaster.
