"Installed On" date Windows 10
Hello.

I'm running Windows 10. In "Programs and Features", where you see all programs installed on the machine, Steam games randomly have install dates of yesterday. When I look at the update history of one of those games it does not show that the game was installed or updated yesterday.

For example, Fallout 4 shows that it was installed 5/2/2016, as does Star Wars TIE Fighter. I installed those games months ago.

What causes Steam games to have their installed date changed in Programs and Features?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Nothing that u can do about it; and it has nothing to do with Win10
Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question.
its windows being retarded, ignore it
It has nothing to do with OS; it's Steam that does this.
A simple "verify game cache" does it too.
Most likely your game just updated; they do not show all updates in the news.
If you participate in the Insiders Program for Windows 10, every time you install a new build, it updates all of the dates in add/remove programs to reflect the date you installed Windows.
