So basically, higher level = more trustable?
I saw scammers with more than lvl 100.

For traders, yes. I don't get it either.

Steam Levels allows you to put up showcases for your profile, get more friend slots and have a higher chance to get boosters (a pack of 3 cards). That's pretty much it.

Steam levels are for profile customization. Also, the higher your level, the bigger chance you have for booster packs. I can't really think of anything else they would be good for.

yup, its still subject for scamming unfortunately. must be rich a$$ scammers. But other than that, the leveling system to me isn't necessary unless you need to add more friends in your list.

An unnecessary social status symbol on steam. Pretty much pointless but at least I can show off my artwork and screenshots with it, so that's nice.... I guess :/

But still, checking the steam level and game count is a better way to determine wheteher a trader is a scammer or not.

Its not everyday you see level 100 accounts with 1k games trying to scam people.
