at one point. its checking the reputation of certain users in regards to steam trading.
I saw scammers with more than lvl 100.
Steam Levels allows you to put up showcases for your profile, get more friend slots and have a higher chance to get boosters (a pack of 3 cards). That's pretty much it.
I don't buy it.
yup, its still subject for scamming unfortunately. must be rich a$$ scammers. But other than that, the leveling system to me isn't necessary unless you need to add more friends in your list.
yup, its mostly a pointless system which valve didn't explore or improve to add value.
But still, checking the steam level and game count is a better way to determine wheteher a trader is a scammer or not.
Its not everyday you see level 100 accounts with 1k games trying to scam people.
yup... unless you're a farmer. like most were found in China and/or Russia.
