Why do some of my games keep closing?

I login to steam, I go to my library, i click play. The game doesn't load up onto the screen it just shows on the taskbar i then click it screen goes black then it kicks me back to my desktop.

Why is this happening to most of my games? Please help :)

Sounds like software running in the background keeping the focus away from your game. Close anything running other than Steam and the game. If it still happens you may want to check for maleware.

At one time Adobe had an issue (wow that's new news), where their forced update tool and speedlauncher app that loads on start were causing a similar issue. Constantly minimizing the game.

Okay I closed everything, updated Adobe and checked for Malware. It's still not working :(

If you go into your task manager and you view all processes (not just the simplified view), if you find the Steam Client Bootstrapper somewhere running in the background, closing that then restarting steam fixes the problem for me.

Go to steam, right click the game that is crashing, go to properties, updates and validate your game files. I might has said that wrong. I'm away from the PC at the moment.

system spec and it look like laptop issue.
