Steam not remembering password
It's happening for around 1 month now, steam doesn’t remember my password and i have steam guard active and its real pain logging in all the time. Remember password is ticked, and in Settings Don’t save credentials is not ticked allready checked that. Tried deleting steam folder except steamapps and installing steam again same problem any help is welcome.

Steam > Settings > Account (First page)

At bottom there's a part that says "don't save account credentials on this computer [ ]"

Make sure the checkbox is unchecked. If that's not the problem.. Did you install Steam in Windows root partition (eg : c:\program files\steam) without administrator access? Not that it should be a problem, but maybe try change install directory if the first solution didn't help.

What i can say is that every time you change the device from where you log in steam asks you for your password, or even if you are on a different network with the same device.

It's only one device I use. Unless it counts steam app on my phone.

You can't store multiple accounts on one instance. If you keep 2 different versions of steam in 2 different folders, you can have 2 different users. you can only run one instance at a time (Without sandboxing)

No this is the only account I use. No one else uses this PC.

Did you figure it out?

No, but it's working now since about a month ago. I didn't do anything.

delete the Steam folder from C:\users\appdata\local

it's not needed. and your passwords will be remembered again.

I tried all the above solutions but none works but then I tried this.
I don't know why this happens but I figured how to get this normal again, did a few test by logging in with or without Mobile Authenticate but then tried:
1. Login to Steam without remember password so leave it unchecked
2. After Steam loads exit Steam
3. Now Login to Steam but remember password
Simple fix
let me know if it works for you
