If the appmanifest -file was present, it shouldn't require you to install the game again to begin with.
How are the paths?
this is the path to common folder.
Is your appmanifest_570.acf -file placed under steamapps\ -folder; and not the steamapps\common\ -folder?
When i copied the game it was 21 gb and now that 21 gb data is in download and temp also has 7 gb .
Its under the steamapps folder, not in common,

no i did not restart but i pressed the install button in library.
since when you click install it only try to discover old files and steam failing in doing that properly in dota 2 and cs:go
Kind of like how it is with most configuration file changes for example, don't do those while the application is STILL running.
