vpk?
is there any way i can turn 7z and rar files into vpk? because i cant get them into l4d2/tf2 or if not is there anyway to get them without winzip?

its because i cant use 7z and rar files they dont let me, but i can use vpk files

Download the appropriate source SDK. It contains a tool to create VPK files.

The Valve developer wiki has an extensive documentation on how to create VPK files.

Well, don't you think that you could create a VPK file from that other files you have right now?

i have this rar file i downloaded for a mod but i cant use rar files only vpk because rar files just take me to internet explorer then say you cannot open this type of file, same with 7z
